Hotel Agapi is one of the oldest establishments of Platanias. It retains the charm of an old hotel while it is also maintained according to the most recent hotel standards due to its owner who is an architect. The last renovation started in 2003.

Hotel Agapi is in the middle of Platanias village, right at the beginning of the small street uniting the traditional old village with today’s village center. The hotel is three hundred meters away from the beach and eleven kilometers from the town of Hania. It is close to a sandy beach ideal for sunbathing, swimming and water sports, not far from a beach with rocks, ideal for fishing and snorkeling and close to the village port where one can depart for excursions to the island or beaches nearby. Agapi hotel offers its guests the privilege of being close to most of the village restaurants, cafes and bars while being secluded enough to offer privacy and relaxation in its premises.

Twelve fully furnished apartments altogether are available: four studios with garden view, six deluxe apartments with separate living room and bedroom, garden or village view and two suites with two bedrooms and village view. All apartments have fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, satellite TV, telephone and safe box. Car parking is available in the public parking area nearby. Flowers and plants surround all apartments; a back garden is available with a swimming pool besides a roof garden with sea view for relaxation and sunbathing and a small reception. Few people know that Platanias owes its reputation not solely to its magnificent beach, its picturesque restaurants and lively nightlife but also due to the beautiful area around Iardanos or Keritis River, which is ideal for hiking, trekking and mountain biking.
